License plug broken?

Like any other technical component, the FBS license plug can break. Especially the mechanical stress due to frequent plugging and unplugging can lead to problems like the computer not recognising the license plug any more.

Should you have problems with your license plug we are happy to check it for faults. We ask you though, to read out the license data before using our service. This can be done in the FBS starting window (FBS.exe; clicking Installation and maintainance → Launch FBS dongle service programme). We kindly ask you to send the results of the license plug scan as a mail to the support team. Many problems can already be pinpointed that way.

If the license plug is actually defective, it can of course be replaced for the production price of a new one. More information about plug exchange can be found here.
