10073: Receiving: "Your FBS Licence cannot use this programme version. Please check if an activation is available for your licence". What does this mean and what can I do?

In certain situations it may be necessary to unlock individual program parts on the licence plug. This occurs, for example, if you have purchased additional components or you are using a time-limited licence (e.g. FBS-FuL licence). Even if you install an update from the FBS-USB stick, your license pluc may not be unlocked yet.

If you receive that message, please first check whether a new activation has already been provided by iRFP: you will find the menu item "check for licence updates..." in the FBS start window (FBS.exe) under "Service and trouble shooting". You'll be allowed to download a new activation for your licence plug. If you receive the message "There are no new releases for your licence plug" when you try to activate it, please contact us. In this case, a new activation may have to be provided by iRFP first.
