20573: What is the use of speed profile function "Valid for trains using catenary or third rail"?

There may be decelerating speed supplementary profiles due to the catenary design (single drive line, R160, R200) or due to the current rail. In such cases, the additional profile often has only one speed change directly at the start of the route.

The wording “using catenary or third rail” is a subtlety: you can surely tow an electric-locomotive faster (with a diesel locomotive) than the single drive line allows, as long as none of the current collectors is applied.
