20554: Is it possible to manually enter the train's load, length, maximum speed and days of service in the train data?

Yes, it is possible to manually define train characteristics such as load, length, maximum speed and days of service without using the corresponding input windows. This can be used e.g. to represent a sample freight train for which only the traction unit, load and length are given, but no specific wagon types. But also a manual reduction of the maximum speed is possible.

To edit the mentioned data manually, please mark the corresponding cell of the topmost train part e.g. "Hg." in the train part table and press Enter (or double-click) while holding the Ctrl key (Ctrl key on English keyboard). You can now enter data manually.

Further information:

  • For traffic days, the described input option can also be used to copy complex regulations from one train to another. For this purpose, the traffic day regulation can be copied from the described editing mode of manual input via clipboard (Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Ins) and pasted on another train (Ctrl+V or Shift+Ins).
  • The load can also be entered manually via the trolley list, which you reach by double-clicking on the Hg., Load and Length fields. You can reach the corresponding option via the small button next to the OK button (▼).
