Entrering FBS vehicle data

To include your own vehicle data inthe vehicle database via iRFP, a possibility was created, to add the vehicle data in standardised form. Engines, multiple units and waggons can be added. This provides a uniforn interface for you as a user, to our system FBS. The entry interface not only allows entering vehicle dynamics but also data that ist relevent commercially e.g., amount of seats or allowed payload. The interface assists you by checking all entered data for plausibility and informing you about potential inconsistencies. The entered data will be sent to iRFP by e-mail. We will then incooperate the entered data in the FBS engine database programme and send you an updated version FBS vehicle databae for your use.

To enter the data there are two possibilities:

1. entering the vehicle data into an online form:

The data is entered online inside your browser - you don't need to download any software on your computer. When the whole form is filled in, the data is sent directly to iRFP. Go to the online form here.

 

2. commiting the vehicle data with a computer programme:

If you do not have a permanent internet connection or if you need some very specific possibilities to enter your vehicle data, you can use the programme "vehicle data". After accepting our general terms and conditions it can be downloaded to your local computer. It is executable immediately, a special installation is not necessary. The programme offers extended entering possibilities, which exceed the amount of the web-interface, for example:

• any number of brake positions with additional attributes
  
• definition of several traction force curves per vehicle (allows the simple modelling of multiple system or hybrid vehicles)
  
• graphical presentation of the entered traction force curves
  
• additional attributes in the sector "technical equipment" and "traffic data"
  
• entered data can be saved localyl on your computer
  

After entering vehicle date with the programme, it generates an e-mail out of the entered data in your local mailing programme, which can be sent to iRFP. Also you have the possibility to save the data.

Download of the computer programme

The usage of that service is free for clients with a valid maintenance contract. In the case that parts of the required vehicle data aren't available or if you have questions regarding to the usage of the entering form or the vehicle data programme, please contact us.
